【 1991年､ﾙ･ﾏﾝを初めて制した記念すべき国産ﾏｼﾝ】 1991年､国産ﾏｼﾝとして初めてﾙ･ﾏﾝ24時間ﾚｰｽの総合優勝を遂げたのがﾏﾂﾀﾞ787Bです｡13年間にわたるﾙ･ﾏﾝ挑戦の実績をもとに開発されたﾏｼﾝには､R26B型4ﾛｰﾀｰ･ﾛｰﾀﾘｰｴﾝｼﾞﾝを搭載｡このｴﾝｼﾞﾝは可変吸気管ｼｽﾃﾑやﾄﾘﾌﾟﾙﾌﾟﾗｸﾞ点火ｼｽﾃﾑ､ﾍﾟﾘﾌｪﾗﾙﾎﾟｰﾄ･ｲﾝｼﾞｪｸｼｮﾝなどの先進技術を採用して最高出力700馬力を誇ります｡3台が参戦した787Bの中で55番車はV.ﾊﾞｲﾄﾞﾗｰ､J.ﾊｰﾊﾞｰﾄ､B.ｶﾞｼｮｰがﾄﾞﾗｲﾌﾞ｡19番手からｽﾀｰﾄすると徐々に順位を上げ､耐久王者ﾎﾟﾙｼｪをはじめﾒﾙｾﾃﾞｽ･ﾍﾞﾝﾂ､ﾌﾟｼﾞｮｰそして1990年の覇者､ｼﾞｬｶﾞｰXJR12をも破り､前年の記録を上回る約4923kmを走破して見事な勝利を飾ったのです｡

The machine. developed over 13 years based on the results of Le Mans challenges. is equipped with an R26B 4-rotor rotary engine. This engine boasts a maximum of 700 horsepower. adopting advanced technologies such as a reliable intake pipe system. triple plug ignition system. and peripheral port injection. Of the three 787Bs that participated. car number 55 was driven by V. Weidler. J. Herbert. and B. Gachot. Starting from 19th place. they gradually rose up the ranks. beating endurance champion Porsche. Mercedes. Benz Peugeot. and the 1990 champion. the Jaguar XJR12. and achieved a brilliant victory by covering approximately 4.923 km to set the winners record.

●The composite frame is made of an ABS shortened frame. with plastic space frames at the front and rear. and an FRP plate on the underside.
●The front is equipped with independent kingpin coil springs. and the rear is equipped with a 3P suspension that controls a 1.5mm thick FRP T-bar with a CVA oil damper.
●The front height can be adjusted in two stages and the rear height can be adjusted in three stages by setting the spacers.
●The direct drive 2WD is equipped with a sports-tuned motor that transmits power directly to the spur gear.
●The ball differential has smooth operation and limited slip effect.
●The one-piece wheels are fitted with high-grip sponge tires.
